Troubleshooting
Start with game/adapter version, assigned Network, selected server and error time. Documentation examples are not credentials for your environment.
| Symptom | Check | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| HTTP 200 but no action | status and the selected service's error format | Handle the application error; 200 alone is not success |
method_not_found | Correct backend, exact Network name, implemented SSO route coverage | Check OpenAPI; a shared prefix does not identify a service |
token_invalid / access_denied | Token type, account, role, selected server | Renew through the normal authentication flow; do not substitute another credential type |
ozprotect_network_host_mismatch | Assigned server host and actual origin | Use the assigned Network; keep dedicated/host guards |
| Socket.IO fails to connect | /socket, namespace, WebSocket transport, auth payload | Avoid plain WebSocket clients and the default /socket.io path |
| Command timeout | Database state, server connectivity, command support and ACK | Check history before retrying; diagnose persistence and delivery separately |
| Saved settings do not change the game | Runtime vs database-only field, connectivity, PushServerConfig | Check extension-side application |
| Minecraft has no Steam/VAC/inventory | id_kind, game_id, UUID | This is a different profile type; do not query Steam with the 19-digit ID |
| Checker shows partial/unavailable/skipped | Directory, file access, limits, separate process consent | Show limits to the moderator; do not label the computer clean |
| SQL error when enabling a feature | Explicit migrations and MySQL version | Review schema/compatibility without importing a production dump into tests |
| AntiCheat does not start collecting | Local consent, endpoint/game context | Review scope and permit only intended collection; Minecraft binding remains backend-limited |
Information for support
Provide component version/commit, game/loader, reproduction steps, a sanitized error name, timestamp and operation stage. State whether this is source review, a fixture, a local stack or an actual game flow. Keep .env, tokens, session codes, webhooks and player-data dumps private.
Known boundaries
API settings UI contains unconnected Public API switches; see integrations. A game catalogue ID does not establish adapter readiness; see games. Disabling consent, borrowing a token or rewriting UUID mappings is not a troubleshooting procedure.
